Crybaby Saxophone (なきむしサクソフォン Nakimushi Sakusofon?) is the seventh episode of the Hibike! Euphonium anime series. It was broadcasted on May 19, 2015. The episode revolves around Aoi and Haruka, as they try to cope with their struggles.

Summary

The band is hard at work preparing for their rapidly approaching auditions and competition. During daily practice, tenor saxophone player, Aoi Saitou has trouble with her part, to which Taki-sensei asks when she will be able to play it properly. Knowing that she is currently struggling with balancing academics and participation in the concert band, she presently announces that she will be quitting, in order to focus her attention on academics.
